thats what i did DRE, and its all good.  but we have the uniden base
with 4 satellite
cordless power units placed strategically throughout the house, and
all works well.
a friend "did not" unhook his outside line from his TNI, and fried his
first adapter.

i think the wattage going to the house from verizon around here is too
hot for the
router units and thats why.
