Yeah, good point.  I just read the context of their statement and it's
far from clear.

It says, "DP World has decided to transfer fully the U.S. operations
of P&O Ports North America Inc. to a United States entity"

That is far from saying they're selling it.  In fact it could simply
mean that they plan to create a wholly owned US subsidiary (i.e.,
shell company) to run the ports which means no change.

Further this is a huge loss of face for Dubai's Sheik and I wouldn't
be surprised to see reprisals from such as cancelling their billion $$
a/c order with Boeing.

IMO, as usual, Bush handled this like crap.  First his people could've
brought this forward before it became public and second, he could've
pulled congress in a room before this dropped onto the press plate. 
Now it's a geo-political firestorm that will have far reaching
consequences.
