The speakerphone isn't the loudest in the world but it's easily loud enough for a car on the highway - I use it that way all of the time. As for the EV-DO/WiFi, what?? The EV-DO works flawlessly as does the WiFi. I connected it up to my WPA-PSK WiFi home network in 2 minutes. If you leave WiFi on driving around it asks you to connect to every network it finds and you can filter them based on security. There's also a radar screen that tells you how close you are to the source. I can run WiFi, the phone, and Bluetooth at the same time by just telling the phone to turn them on. Or off.
