Let me see if I understand this correctly. There is a faction or factions in Iraq that opposes both the US being in Iraq and Iraq moving towards a Western style democracy.
There are groups or individuals and possibly government support of the Iraqi factions in the following countries. Saudi Arabi - people, money and supplies Iran - People, IED components, money, supplies, intelligence (plus they may want to make nukes) Syria - People, supplies, money United States - People, money and supplies (why else would we be spying on American citizens, besides there are several documented cases of Americans being charged with aiding Al Qeada and other terrorist organizations supporting the opposition in Iraq) Pakistan People, Money, Suppplies, intelligence The United Kingdom - see USA. I'm bored but I am sure the list goes on. In a Muslim region of the world there are going to be those who support removing the Western powers from muslim regions. It doesn't mean that the entire country supports the fight against the west, nor does it mean there is governmental level support. We have troops fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq. How many more countries do we have to be send troops to fight in to please mr. bush. It looks to me like he is layig the ground work for sending Americans into Iran. And I am so sick of the Chamberlain arguement. Chamberlain should not have allowed Hitler to get strated, and should not have backed down. However, Hitler was invading other countries. The Chamberlain arguement was valid in when Bush Sr. Sent Americans to fight in Desert Storm. The argument is not valid today. Sadam was not invading anyone in 2001 - 2003. In the late 1980's and early 1990's he was attempting to build WMDs (with our help, biological and chemical weapons) including nukes (not with our help). But by 2001 he may still have had the aspirations but he did not have an active program or the ability. But rather than admit that he kept pretending to hide his capability from UN and other international inspectors. Now our moronic president wants to engage in war with half the Middle East. This morally bankrupt bufoon is trying to bankrupt us financially as well.
