Hey Ray, I can't believe it about Vinateri. Unbelievable. Why didn't the Pats hang the franchise tag on him??? I must be missing something. Kraft & Coach B. must know something we don't.
I don't think Vinateri will actually help the Colts that much tho'. I mean they _had_ the best kicker ever (percentage-wise). Granted no one's more clutch than Adam. Altho' he did blow that kick against Denver that really couldva change the momentum of the game. He shouldva made that kick. Plus the Colts play half their games indoors, I think Vinateri's speciality is that he's a proven cold-weather outdoor kicker. I'm more surprised about Green Bay not making a harder push for Adam. As for the Colts, I think losing James is gonna hurt a lot. If they didn't make the playoffs, I wouldn't be surprised. How about Bronson for Willy Mo? That surprised me. I didn't really see the need for a Willy Mo, but now that it's happened, might as well embrace it. Willy Mo's got some great potential, and should be able to get a lot of ABs/playing time, since he can spell Trot, Coco, and Manny. I'm going to the Phils-Sox spring training game on Sunday, I'll let you know how they look (I'm hoping it's not gonna be a split-squad). Ray, you'd definitely be jealous. I encoded Games 1-7 of the 2004 ALCS DVDs into mp4 format for my new Video Ipod. I've been watching 'em at work, got thru Games 1 & 2 yesterday, Sox lost again.
