My HARDEST job was field hand at a tree farm. But I'd go back there in
a second if they paid well.

My WORST job was at the G Fox Warehouse. It was a 15 mile
walk/hitchhike to and from work, 6pm-1am shift, and they would strip
search us when entering and leaving to make sure we didn't steal
anything.

The job was unpacking pallettes, opening boxes, and pricing all the
products. I seem to remember a LOT of womens shoes.

I had to quit after they threatened me to not file a workers comp
claim. (literal threats with a pipe and a number of very large Italian
gentlemen standing in the background). I had been hit by a forklift in
the back of the heel, and my achilles tendon was partially severed. Of
course, without insurance. I tried to work for a few weeks, but it
hurt so bad I couldn't do it for a full shift.

I was scared enough I left my last paycheck unclaimed.
