Umm, they couldn't fire her, they would have to give her workmen's comp for
that.

Well that's a liberal estimate. That's assuming she gets herself a job
that's a) down the street (that's a pretty big limitation), b) 40 hrs (lots
of min. wage jobs don't give you the whole 40 -- they'll give you 30 or 20),
and c) that her back doesn't give out while she's trying to lift the 100lb
bag of garbage out of the can at Mc Donalds and they fire her. So it's more
likely to be like $600/mo for however long (days? weeks?) she can work there
before throwing out her back.
