people who never played team sports are odd at best in my book. plain odd. there is nothing like sport. there is nothing like sinking a putt, scoring a goal, hitting a crisp line drive into deep left field, crossing into the end zone, the look on your teammates face when you help them out, the look on your teammates face when you score one for the team. there is just nothing like it. if i could, id almost make it a qualification for job searchers that they played on a team in a team sport... the lessons learned are invaluable, and self building like not much else out there in the world.
