I have never heard them admit any of this, at least not without immediately contradicting themselves with a completely different story.
Take Cheney for instance. He TO THIS DAY is still hinting that Saddam was responsible for 9/11. He says "there was no link", then prevaricates and says "But, we all know about the training camps.
