Never made it to Philmont but I spent about 5 years in Scouting as a kid. I recieved my Eagle in 1980.
I was a Scoutmaster in Okinawa, Japan and have been an Assistant Scoutmaster twice. I was also fortunate enough to attend BSA Camp Director School in Zama, Japan. Awesome week long camping event learning how to run a summer camp. Scouting is awesome! I am positive that Scouting kept me out of a lot of trouble. As much as I love my daughters and do wonderful things with them, it was a very tough day when I realized I wasn't going to have a son with whom to share Scouting.
