Here's a reason, the internet is stateless.  Why should any state or country
think that they have the right to tax it?

I agree, we are over taxed at the moment. Specifically, I think the income
tax should be abolished.

But as things currently stand, there is no reason why one good should be
exempt from a sales tax, whereas another is not. Which is what his post was
about.
