Funny thing is, I find myself disagreeing with Nick and agreeing with
Sam.  From a policy perspective, we should tell them we'll unleash
hell on them.

The problem is, Pres Bush has shown himself to be an irresponsible
steward of force with Iraq: he claimed we were invading Iraq to
prevent "a mushroom cloud", and trotted out Colin Powell to show the
world our great intelligence.

Not only does it turn out that there were no WMD, but that there were
plenty of people in our government telling the President of this fact
- he just ignored them and neglected to pass that information on the
country.  He lied to us - if not outright, it was a lie of omission.

So, Matt's got it right too - Bush is the President who cried wolf
when there was none, and now he's finding himself in a pickle when
there is one.
