But you can always leave. I think that's the key to the right of free speech. You have the right to speak what you want as long as: A. It does not cause others to come to harm (yelling fire in a theater or calling for the death of someone) B. Your audience has the ability to leave without any physical, social or other harm. You can always leave a list or newsgroup but a student can't leave a class. Either way, I barely have time for the lists and all let alone newsgroups. :)
