Yup, totally agree and those are great examples, at least from my experience. One experience pops into my head: Once I was very lost deep in farm country in Belgium. I stumbled on a country tavern near a small town called Larne which was near the Flemish border. Long story short, I started chatting up the bartender who called his friends to come down to see the freak. Eventually all these farmers showed up, some even with their sheep dogs. We had all manner of discussion about America, religion, etc and, while we disagreed on lots of stuff, it was all good in the end. Another time I was deep in farm country in North Dakota (Drayton) near the Canadian border. Went into a bar and started chatting up the bartender. Eventually all his friends showed up, and, let's just say they weren't very tolerant of anything and were willing to threaten anyone who didn't share their opinions. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:204811 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
