You could delete the Winnt directory.... Theres nothing useful in there :)) :))
On a more serious note... You should be able to delete everthing in the temp dir... As nothing should be in there that is important... The only problem with it is that there will be files locked and thus you will not be able to delete them... I usually select all and delete... Then when windows says it cant delete the file cause its locked then I reselect all that is left, unselect the first option in the list (the locked file) and try to delete the rest.. Other things you can do is remove unused programs... Move you're my documents or downloads folder to a different drive/partition/network drive HTH -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 28 January 2002 16:58 To: CF-Community Subject: Hard Disk Full I'm C drive is running out of space. I've never understood "temp" files. I tried to delete some once and got a warning not to. I have a folder called "temp" with a bunch of .tmp files in it, among other things. I also have a WinNT folder with a bunch of .tmp files in it. How do I know what I can safely trash and what I can keep, especially in the temp folder? I have a WinNT 4.0 workstation.
