And he's allowed to get away with this because there is no strong opposition that can stop him. The US war in Iraq has weakened Iran's two most powerful counterweights: A militarily strong Iraq, and a singularly focused US military. Combine that with a toothless United Nations......and Iran is free to dance around naked, waving guns at everyone. They'd better watch their step with Israel, however. Unless i'm mistaking....i don't think an Arab/Muslim nation has ever won a war against Israel (militarily speaking).
