It's going ok. I've had a few things going on personally here, so I have moved the "marathon" goal to next year. I have some other goals I want/need to accomplish this year.
I had a couple of weeks of only 2 runs a week, trying to rest and heal that leg and it seems to have worked because I have no pain anywhere now. The last couple of weeks I am back to 2-4 miles a day, 5 days a week. The days I do 2 miles, I am going pretty fast. I did a quarter at 6mph yesterday. I'm trying to stretch out my stride and last longer faster, if that makes sense. Feels pretty good. I have figured out the stride where I can just go all day and it's between 4.5mph and 5.0mph. It's very comfortable and breathing is easy. I no longer walk in the beginning, I just jump right into a 4mph mile and I do my stretches afterwards. I've lost a few more pounds to put my total at 106lbs - but I have gained muscle over the last few weeks as I'm still doing the strength training. How are you doing???
