I think it's safe to say that we buy things differently.  I don't buy
products that are widely recognised as requiring alot of repair -
particularly in the price range of a new car.  I would prefer a
reliable car with a normal warranty to a car that constantly breaks
down (but has a super duper warranty) anyday.

Since you don't pay much attention to those hocus-pocus statistics, I
assume you play alot of the lottery?  And perhaps don't put any
credence behind the statistics supporting the fact that the free
market system works?

Bah! Statistics-shmamistics!
