I have to animate an ad for my company to place on a partner's web site. It is 728 x 90 and has to be as close to 25KB as possible. The best Image Ready could do fo me is 40KB. Using lower quality JPGs and 24bit PNGs I got the size down to 27KB. However, on certain screens the transparency in one of the PNGs appears as a fuzzy white shadow. I also have to add the link inside the SWF file as a button instead of an anchor around an image.
What would the list suggest as a best practice? Should I use all PNGs and let Flash optimize the file size? Did I do the best I could? Even any opinions or advice would be welcome. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:207494 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
