The timing of this is interesting, considering that just 3 days ago, people on this list were claiming that no major terrorist plots have been foiled lately.
-Cameron Interesting how some people take a claim of "no plots foiled using extended law enforcement privileges at the cost of personal freedoms" to mean "no plots have been foiled." But, I have not been following these threads closely, so I can not claim to know all the claims that have been made. However, as far as I know, Canada has not had any sweeping legislation diminishing its citizen's freedoms or its executive branch engaging in questionable, if not illegal, wire tapping schemes. And yet they seem to be able to still prevent these plots.
