These last two are still very harsh, but kind of funny, especially if you
know how much she hates Susan Sarandon and Cher (Witches of Eastwick).
Moreover, these women have put themselves in the limelight, and as
politicians and celebs know, once you become a public figure, the gloves
come off and everyone will take shots at you. Doesn't make it right, but
that is how our system works.

I was reading an interview with Chris Hitchens where he said he gets death
threats almost every week. It has become such a regular thing that he jokes
that he gets lonely if a week goes by without one. But he acknowledges that
such is the price for being a public figure, and he notes that it is an easy
tradeoff to make, especially compared to sacrifices made by soliders
guarding polling stations in Anbar province and the like.
