Here's some info: http://web.mit.edu/w1mx/www/swapfest.shtml It's mostly ham radio and computer but anything that goes "beep" or blinks is generally on the menu. Lots of crap but often some decent bargains - and in your case you might actually be able to work out a decent swap for something you need. > If we settle on free, you get next pick for donations. Thanks - but I'm not actually in Boston any longer. :^( But I can definitely get you some names - in fact I think that the Boston Computer Exchange might still be on Temple Street - just a block or two away. The Free Software Foundation is over on Franklin Street as well. There are others... one I just can't remember the real name of, but I know it's the preferred one of several friends... "Tech Exchange" or "Tech for Change" or something like that. I used to volunteer at Virtually Wired when it existed (on Temple Street) and I've kept in touch with that crowd - they know how to deal with old hardware. ;^) Jim Davis ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:208612 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
