So, I am sitting in my apartment, and have about a view of about 15 feet of walkway outside my apartment complex from my chair.
I just saw a young kid holding a pistol to another kid's head, and pushing him down the sidewalk. The unarmed kid did not look happy. I couldn't get out of my chair quick enough to see around the corner. What do you do? It did not look like a toy gun. Ignore it, figuring they are just playing? Run outside and stop them? Call 911 and report it, but stress it may be kids playing? Now, keep in mind, parts of my town have definite gang and violence issues. I hadn't seen either kid before. Does this change anything? Finally, one kid was black, and one kid was white. And our town has had some serious racial issues over the years. FWIW, I called 911.
