It was big news in the UK, even though it was a very small protest, I seem to remember that several arrests were made in the following weeks although I have no idea what eventually happened to them.
A week or two later there was a much bigger protest by British Muslims in response to the first, but this time urging tolerance and restraint. On 6/24/06, C.
