The problem you're missing is that you and I may disagree on "life
threatening" and we may disagree on when the government gets to take
away your parental rights.  If you're comfortable with me making that
decision for you and your family then I'd say you're no longer capable
of making sane decisions.  I'm sorry sir, but I'm going to have to
make all of your decisions for you from now on.
