So, does anyone else feel that maybe, just maybe, Michael has some justification to his feelings on this subject.
I can see from news reports that Israel is not attacking populated areas, is warning people to leave when it does (with plenty of time to get out, even for the bad guys), and is concentrating on military targets. They are trying very hard to limit civilian casualties. Hezbollah is targeting nothing but civilian population centers. Yet there is nothing I am seeing, either from the media, or from the world leadership, that is mentioning this dichotomy. Is it just (as I have thought before) that we expect better behavior from "civilized" countries like Israel, and we know that Hezbollah is NOT civilized, and so expect nothing different, or is it that we judge Israel different than the countries and people around it? Truly curious.
