Yup. And the whole idea of "keep your own money" is completely anti-Social Security. The SS concept came about because the population as a whole was too stupid to save their money and those that did got sick of geezers expiring on their porch and eating their dog's food. Further, Bush's plan didn't do anything to address the core problem, it just delayed the inevitable. There only 3 workable solutions I can see: 1.) Eliminate SS, get used to old people ghettos (Florida?). 2.) Turn it into Welfare, which it is. 3.) Come up with some type of prove-you-are-saving exemption, kill benefits for those that are, cut benefits for those that are close. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Introducing the Fusion Authority Quarterly Update. 80 pages of hard-hitting, up-to-date ColdFusion information by your peers, delivered to your door four times a year. http://www.fusionauthority.com/quarterly Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/message.cfm/forumid:5/messageid:211347 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
