My limited understanding is that there's only around 2% that are
usable. Still a lot. Many of the frozen embryos are in custody battles
so they're in limbo. Many are destroyed because they're not usable. Of
the rest they get adopted through what's called a snowflake program.
The Presidents argument is the two percent available for science could
be part of the snowflake program and become people. These aren't
aborted fetuses. I'm not sure why they don't use aborted ones.
