Dana, spend the $20 bucks for the buds, you won't disappointed. Less of an ear-bud and more of a true headphone without the extra plastic. They actually create a nice "seal" around your ear canal and cancel out almost all noise, while making sure all the sound doesn't bleed out of the edges. They also create a cool little bass tube using your ear, too, which makes the sound not so "tinny".
I love mine. Dana wrote: > My headphones just died. This really really really sucks as I use them as a > way of filtering out extraneous noise.
