> Ahhhh, the life of a cf programmer/security guy/server guy.

All,

I had a CFMX (6.1 with all patches/updaters) server lose its ODBC
connection the other night. Four minor load sites that have been
humming along on their new very happy home (Dell 1850/Dual Xeon Dual
Core procs/Windows Server 2003 with all updates) for six months.

It was really bizarre. Other servers (development boxes) connecting to
the same DB were good to go, so I ruled out a SQL Server 200 issue. I
could connect to the remote DBs through the ODBC control panel on the
server itself, logged in through RDS.

JRun was running at 150MB which is not unusual so I tried cycling the
3 CFMX Services which had no effect.

I finally restarted the box which alieviated the problem, but I'm at a
loss as to what caused it or what might be the solution.

Any ideas?
