That's a totally ridiculous thing to say as it's completely unsupported by any set of facts. I think Israel is approaching this really stupidly, but they're neither aiming to destroy Lebanon nor targeting civilians. Right now Israel is using roughly 5% of their air power and 2% of their ground power. If they wanted to "annihilate the Lebanese" they could've done it in hour 1 with nukes and in week one without. Opinions are one thing but this crosses the line into slander.
