Yes, but I'm talking about Europe, not Hezbollah.  Of course the
response is, "France hates Israel they would never ...blah blah blah".
 But you can say you asked and they declined.  The point is telling
France you have a problem and what to they suggest.  At the point you
agree to disagree is when you attack.  (and after you have a military
plan for victory)

And who's to say that Spain or the Netherlands wouldn't have lined up?
 France is thinking of sending in troops now so they must be willing
to negotiate at some level.

The bottom line is that Israel should've asked ahead of time because
it's much harder to condemn someone who agreed you had a problem but
offered no solution.

Now Israel is in the position of being second guessed and rightly so.
If I can do it Belgium can too.  And the fact that we can means that
Israel approached it wrong.  (that totally ignores the military
mistakes).

That having been said, Hezbollah needs to be crushed and Isreal has
full rights to do it.
