Actually I did call up their Sales department. However I did not inquire
about a 
Static IP. Reason being is that once I found out the speeds provided
(approx 500kb),
I quickly learned that the 2MB that I get now with Verizon DSL was too
hard to pass
up. Granted, I could loose a phone number and save some $$ but with the
rate of 
Throughput that I get with Verizon over ComTek, was simply too much to
part with.
