I was looking for something to support Hatton's assertion and was not
able to find a picture but it did find this:

Come to think of it, would I have gone though Bonham while driving
from Wichita Falls to Dallas? Seems to me I did, and if so there is no
longer any such sign on the main highway, I would have remembered
