Well, it's just so awesome of Sen. Allen to blow himself up so completely for absolutely no reason. It was almost as if he was trying to define irony: He starts his gaff by saying that he wants to, "Run this campaign on positive constructive ideas". He then immediately singles out the sole non-Caucasian person in the room, calls him "macaca", and welcomes him to America when, if fact, he was born in America. It was an immature bully's attempt at humiliating someone. But wait, there's more! He says all this directly into "macaca's" video camera despite that fact that HE KNOWS "macaca" is *working* for his competition!
