I have not talked with our scientists about this. There's been a few seminars
both here and at George Mason University about this topic over the last year or
so, but nothing I've attended. The talks are extremely technical to an extreme.
I consider myself an educated layman in this area, but I've been lost very
shortly after the start of the talks, usually after the presenter says "Good
Afternoon."

What I can say is that these cell lines have been very popular lately. So
there's a push for researchers in this area now. However that said, most likley
it will go the way of other initially promising lines of research, like
envascularization of tumours etc, a lot of research will be done but it
probably won't be a promising as thought.
