According to Time magazine, Armitage inadvertently leaked Plame's identity to Bob Novak.
More interestingly, the Justice Department (and thus the special prosecutor) knew very early on that Armitage was the source of the leak. So why the long drawn-out investigation? And why didn't Armitage or Colin Powell speak up in public about the leak?
