We (the taxpayers) are paying the national guard to do it, or we (th
tax payers) are paying the garbage company to do it.  Either way it's
gonna take the same number of trips in a big ole truck.  I don't know
who Joe's Hauling is, or why they only own two trucks, but if the
power company can put together resources from all over the nation to
drive down and help re-connect power all over the place, there's no
reason the same can't be done with the garbage men.

It's just a matter of the federal, state, and local governments
getting off their collective fat asses, stop arguing over the piggy
bank, and actually doing their jobs.
