During Katrina there were sites where you could listen to the communications
between law enforcement and other emergency crews.

I am trying to find a link that would enable me to listen to local law
enforcement traffic here in Sacramento. I've not been able to find anything.
Does anyone know of a resource that might point me in the right direction?

Right now there are 3 helicopters, and apparently dozens of cop cars in my
neighborhood. They are closing streets and zipping all over the place.

My mother in law is watching my 1 year old in my house and is wondering wtf is
going on. I would like to listen in to the sheriff, to see if I can figure out
what is happening.
