Yep - one kid and that makes a world of difference. If I had no kids,
I'd be much much less concerned about things like stability, flex
time, and health insurance. I'd still _want_ those things, but I'd be
willing to do things that are more high risk - like consulting or
freelancing. But, with a kid (and a stay at home husband) stability is
a huge factor for me.
