If I took a year, got classified as "disabled" and hired a lawyer.

I'd rather just let the guys that lost a leg or whatever use the VA.  I
don't really mind paying for it.  Just pissed me off when my insurance
wouldn't.  Oh well, when I get hired here direct hire hopefully it won't be
a problem anymore.
