Well, we /did/ already have a sort of exemption from the Geneva convention, IIRC. For years and years, I think. It's sneaky how Bush has manipulated the system. Heh. Like one man, or even the media, is responsible. No, I think this is just what happens when power corrupts. Hopefully the cycle will continue, and we won't fall like Rome. =] Seriously, it's gotten to the point where democracy has blatantly been compromised, and yet, very little fallout. Too many people with too little knowledge... the other shoe has to drop before too long- as usual, karma is working it's magic, I don't think I've seen so much scandal in my whole life. Even on the history channel. Well, The Church was pretty funky for a while there, I guess... They can't cover it up forever. And the internet really is pretty awesome... Are there seriously no Bush (or current administration) supporters on this list? I hear there are Republican blogs and such "out there", but I have trouble believing many savvy people would advodate the current status quo. How would they find tech support? And how could a true conservative even associate oneself with the Republican party? Heh. I'm still proud to be an American... just more ashamed than usual. We really dropped the ball, even if only 30% of the population really thinks what's going on is somehow OK. Guess I should conceed that to the Reds. Some of them don't still think all is well with the party. I just can't get over how anti-their-platform Repubs are. It might be funny in a century or two, I guess. Right now it's just ironic. [insert tearful native american from that "keep the earth clean" campaign here]. I want to be more uniting, but I'm having real troubles. ARRRRG!! I'm so weak! Personally, I blame that Geico commercial with the cave-man walking in the airport. Yup. But I meant that last comment to be more out of context. -Denny -ps heh, Cops is on, and it's at a demonstration. I had almost forgot about all that stuff... Yeah, money has ruined the media, again. =] (totally unrelated- does anyone else remember seeing Cops where sometimes the criminal got away? ;) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Introducing the Fusion Authority Quarterly Update. 80 pages of hard-hitting, up-to-date ColdFusion information by your peers, delivered to your door four times a year. http://www.fusionauthority.com/quarterly Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:217043 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
