I was, but it's too late. We needed a major policy change 2 years ago, but now it's too late. And it has nothing to do with our guys - they can travel at will and hold any area without exception. The problem is that the people they're stopping from killing each other don't want to be stopped. They want to kill each other. I'm open to giving it a shot - try to hold the country together with 500,000 troops. But it comes down to this: 1.) Control the border. 2.) Clear and hold EVERY major city. 3.) Wait 10 years. And then we still might fail if Iraqi don't want to be Iraqis. So it comes down to scarce resources and priorities. Do I want our money and scarce troops in Iraq or do I want them elsewhere? I want them elsewhere. I look at it like lottery tickets: if the top prize is $10 and tickets are a $1 would you spend $10,000 to win? Well, since I never buy them I don't know. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Introducing the Fusion Authority Quarterly Update. 80 pages of hard-hitting, up-to-date ColdFusion information by your peers, delivered to your door four times a year. http://www.fusionauthority.com/quarterly Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:218216 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
