Tony, The hardest thing to do is to let go before he's in any pain.
When someone in our neighborhood was careless with their antifreeze, five of our cats were poisoned over about a week's time. After seeing the first one go to the end (before the tests confirmed the cause) we decided to put the others down as soon as they started showing the symptoms. Very hard to do, especially since we stayed with them as they were put down, but better that than their suffering. I'm so sorry for Rocky and what you're all going through, Tony. Strength, my friend.
