I think it's of import however, that like Grrrruss said, republicans explicitly
run on "morals". democrats might talk about them, but it's not part of the
platform- at least not like the reds.

Same goes for fiscal responsibility, and a "small" government.

I mean, this is how these folks got votes.

Neither party holds claim, but the blatant hypocrisy is what galls me.

I too am a hypocrite, though, so who am I to bemoan it? Eh...

Maybe we do need a "no confidence" vote? Better 'n not voting, I reckon...

I'm pissed because the local red has this add "a terrierist call from
afghanistan
to denver, how many minutes are wasted waiting to get a warrant". THERE
WAS NO WAIT! They didn't even need to get a warrant until after the tap had
been applied! That's bad enough, but now they want warrantless "searches",
or whatever?!?!?! Pisses me off to no end. And then the blue, she's like "of
COURSE I'm all for warrant-less wire tapping on US citizens!" instead of "look,
more FUD from the republican party!" Ah well, can't blame them, I guess.
The average american still hasn't quite "gotten it".

Damn, I'm not much of a uniter. I really can't believe there are still people
defending this crap though. And I used to have such a good imagination...

Yeah, both sides suck, but one side sucks more than the other. And I
think some of the "enemy combatants" will realize it this time. Not that
you could tell by some of the comments I've been catching up on.

TORTURE IS BAD! THE ENDS DON'T JUSTIFY THE MEANS! My loard,
I thought this was the stuff we learnt in kindergarten...

Sorry for the rant. Been a *cough* interesting week or so for me. Just
now seeing a bunch of the political convo that went on.

You can safely ignore this post, folks.
