Yes, among other reasons. > The administration thought that they could easily turn Iraq into a democracy thus causing a domino > effect in the Middle East that would topple Iran, Syria, etc. and thereby protect oil flows. And a democracy, any democracy in the middle east is a bad thing how? > As it turns out they were wrong and Iraq is costing WAY more that it's worth. You're the one that gets all worked up... But that's beside the point. I've always understood the real reason for going over there. As for failures, well, it isn't over until it's over and we'll be in Iraq for at least the next two to three years. You don't give up on the game at the start of the fouth quarter... You want to change that direction, vote democrat and tell the elected officials from your state to cut off the funding for the war. You can't change the executive branch for another two years. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Introducing the Fusion Authority Quarterly Update. 80 pages of hard-hitting, up-to-date ColdFusion information by your peers, delivered to your door four times a year. http://www.fusionauthority.com/quarterly Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:219640 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
