Which is why the parade is NOT set to go anywhere near any Muslim neighborhoods.

And you think a gay pride parade is peaceful? It's not violent in a "causing
physical damage" sense, but it is not peaceful in the least. What do you call
mostly naked men and women dancing around and flaunting themselves in a
conservative neighborhood? An elderly Jew was arrested and dragged off in the
middle of his Rosh Hashana prayers because someone took offense to his blowing
a shofer. The music from one of these parades is quite a bit louder. This
parade is far from peaceful. It's just not physically harmful.

The city wanted to prevent the parade. The organizers went to the courts (well
known for their liberal and anti-religious bias) and the courts forced the city
to give the permits. The police, who ban orthodox Jews from anywhere they feel
might cause a riot/violence is NOT stopping this parade on the same grounds but
instead are pulling in a HUGE force to protect it. A force never used to
protect others.
Point is, they have a good idea that the march will cause a riot and violence
and as long as it's just orthodox jews protesting they feel it's ok.

Watch as other countries in the area use this as provocation for Israel's
destruction.
