Go for JSP. Here are the reasons:
1. JSP is integrating a concept called tag libraries. Basically, it's CF
tags but written in Java. (Yes, Sun is recognizing that CF rules).
2. There are a number of really good JSP engines out there like JRun
from MM.
3. The next version of CF will allow you to write in CF but have the
results run on top of java engines.
All in all, take JSP now and by years end you'll be back programming CF.
:)

Why not the others? Well, Perl is nice if your insane. Powerful, but not
written to be understood by anyone remotely human (Yes, I know Perl).
PHP will always look like a step child of Asp and will always have that
position. Asp is changing as .net is coming out so it's still a little
in limbo for the future. You can get the latest asp, but then you'll
have to learn new stuff.
