Have you traveled internationally lately? Of course in your comfy home in Kansas things seem all cozy and safe but your average, say, European sees America as full of rootin' tootin' gun packing war-mongering nutjobs led by an idiot who's going authoritarian on them and they don't care. Bush and his former government were seen as far-right, leaning fascist, rulers using security as an excuse for aggression on both the citizens and foreigners. You especially can't blame Europeans for feeling that way. So, yeah, feelings and impressions are always rational but I think they do say something about how people got those impressions. You've seen the polls, many people around the World consider America to be one of the top threats to peace. Laugh if you will, but how do you think they got that impression? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Introducing the Fusion Authority Quarterly Update. 80 pages of hard-hitting, up-to-date ColdFusion information by your peers, delivered to your door four times a year. http://www.fusionauthority.com/quarterly Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:220780 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
