I haven't seen the tape but it doesn't sound like it was *flat* -- mind you I am hearing about it in right wing blogs. But what's all this about suggesting the money go to a campaign donor? Or that he might be interested at a later date?
I suspect it does matter who is elected. Last time I thought it didn't, we got bush. What I don't know is which alternative is better. Or whether they are equally bad.
